"When I first started at LASSO, I had never worked around horses before. Through my time here, I have been able to build a foundation on horsemanship skills and an understanding of the hard work behind being a horse owner. Like humans, horses can come from many different situations, and at LASSO I am able to see this firsthand. Sometimes a rescue horse just needs a little more time and love, and that is perfectly fine. This experience has taught me to look beyond the history of a horse, or even other animals, and how to interact with them and love them for how they are."
